Aluminum extrusion profiles for drone

Recently, CHALCO has carried out technical docking with an aviation technology company to ensure the supply of aluminum tubes and aluminum profiles for the production of small unmanned aircraft and two-person aircraft. CHALCO successfully produced aluminum extrusion profiles for drone in order to verify the strength and elongation rate of aluminum tubes and various aluminum profiles required for aircraft.

It is understood that in early April, Chalco Aluminum carried out this work in an all-round way by relying on on-site pictures and some parts drawings provided by Shenlong Technology without complete assembly drawings. With the Model Worker Innovation Studio as the core, the factory has recruited technically comprehensive engineers and experienced skilled craftsmen to organize a technical innovation production team. All positions of the team worked together to promote the project, and carried out detailed preliminary preparations for key issues such as bending, rounding, geometric dimensions, and surface finish of various specifications of the profiles. During the production process, everyone brainstormed and actively participated according to the drawings. The actual size is checked in detail, and the rounding of various pipes and the bending of profiles are taken to the best state through many correction experiments, and all the various connecting parts are made and machined by themselves. The production team gave up weekends and worked continuously for two weeks. By the end of April, the task of this technological innovation was successfully completed.

The successful research and development of Aluminum extrusion profiles for drone has laid a good foundation for the factory to expand into new markets, enhance its influence in the domestic market, and order contracts for high value-added extrusion aluminum products.
