Zinc and copper contents were added to
7050 Alloy Aluminum plate sheet, which increased the proportion of zinc and magnesium. Zirconium was used to replace chromium as grain refiner, and iron and silicon impurities were greatly reduced. These improvements and the use of over-aging treatment make 7050 Alloy have excellent comprehensive properties such as good toughness, high fatigue strength and stress corrosion resistance at a higher strength level. A prominent advantage of type 7050 Alloy is its good hardenability, especially for large area section parts.
7050 Alloy aluminum plate sheet has good oxidation resistance, and the general corrosion performance is only inferior to 7050 alloy, has good peeling corrosion resistance and stress corrosion resistance.
The melting temperature of
7050 Alloy aluminum plate sheet is 710-750℃, the casting temperature is 700-730 C. The manufacturing temperature of small ingot can be appropriately lower. The forming process, heating temperature and time of alloy 7075 are similar. The surface treatment process of 7075 alloy aluminum plate is the same as that of common aluminum alloy, and the machinability of the alloy is good.
7050 Alloy aluminum plate sheet is mainly used for processing high strength, high stress corrosion resistance and peeling corrosion resistance and good fracture toughness of the main bearing aircraft structural parts, such as fuselage frame, baffle, wing panels, wing beams, wing ribs, landing gear support parts.
T76 state of
7050 Alloy aluminum plate sheet is generally used for structural parts requiring anti-stripping corrosion and high strength; T74 state is suitable for structural parts with high strength and stress corrosion resistance, especially for structures with large cross-section.
