7B50 aluminum extrusions profiles

As a lightweight high-strength structural material, Al Zn mg Cu ultra-high strength aluminum alloy is widely used in the aerospace field to make high-strength structural parts of aircraft, such as outer wing beam of aircraft wing, main landing gear beam, front landing gear actuator, vertical tail joint and so on. 7B50 aluminum extrusions profiles is one of the new aluminum alloy materials developed in China. It has excellent comprehensive properties after thermomechanical treatment. The alloy has high toughness, excellent hardenability, good weldability and corrosion resistance. 7B50 aluminum alloy thick plate and extruded material are selected for the development of a certain aircraft in China for the first time.

7B50 aluminum alloy is a heat treatable strengthening alloy. Solution treatment and aging treatment are the key to improve the properties of Al Zn mg Cu high strength alloys
 
1) 7B50 aluminum extensions profiles are aged from w511 solid solution state to t7351, T7451 and t7651 state by solid solution + two-stage aging process. Its performance is stable and there is no eutectic melting. These heat treatment processes are applicable.
 
2) The conductivity of 7b50-t7351 aluminum alloy is about 40.30% IACS ~ 41.11% IACS, the hardness is 85.33 HRB ~ 86.53 HRB, the tensile strength is 548 n / mm2 ~ 574 n / mm2, and the yield strength is 495
 
N / mm2 ~ 521 n / mm2, and the elongation after fracture is 13.4% ~ 14.4%.
 
3) 7b50-t7451 aluminum alloy has conductivity of 38.67% IACS ~ 39.56% IACS, hardness of 86.5 HRB ~ 88.57 HRB, tensile strength of 575 n / mm2 ~ 605 n / mm2 and yield strength of
 
531 n / mm2 ~ 560 n / mm2, and the elongation after fracture is 13.1% ~ 13.6%.
 
4) 7b50-t7651 aluminum alloy has conductivity of 35.71% IACS ~ 36.30% IACS, hardness of 89.27 HRB ~ 91.3 HRB, tensile strength of 601 n / mm2 ~ 633 n / mm2 and yield strength of
 
566 n / mm2 ~ 596 n / mm2, and the elongation after fracture is 12.2% ~ 12.9%.
 
5) After heat treatment with different aging processes, the test results show that all samples have no eutectic melting, high temperature oxidation and intergranular corrosion sensitivity.
