7A09 aircraft aluminum tubing

7A09 belongs to Al Zn mg Cu system of super hard aluminum, which has been used in aircraft manufacturing since the late 1940s, and 7A09 aircraft aluminum tubing is still widely used in aviation industry. It is characterized by good plasticity after solid solution treatment, excellent heat treatment effect, high strength below 150 C and excellent low temperature strength, poor weldability, stress corrosion cracking tendency, and need to be protected by aluminum cladding or other protective treatment. The static fatigue, notch sensitivity and stress corrosion resistance of the plate are better than 7A04.
